The A.J. Green story has kind of gotten out-of-hand. Will he play? I’m not sure. Did he do anything wrong? I don’t think so.
But know this: I’m over this story.
Either he will play or he won’t. Why can’t Richt or Green speak on the matter? I think it means the NCAA has not come back with it’s ruling, which means there is still a chance Green could be ruled ineligible (I don’t think this happens).
Let’s have an NCAA-investigation free links today...
Here is a positive A.J. Green story I wrote about the receiver’s friendship with safety Bacarri Rambo.
Trinton Sturdivant, or the Luxury, as my good friend David Hale began calling him back in spring, is back after two seasons of recovery. Two devastating knee injuries have derailed Sturdivant’s career, but he looks like he’s ready to go.
Looks like DeAngelo Tyson will start Saturday’s opener at nose tackle.
Here’s a quick story on Georgia commit Nathan Theus. I have talked to the long-snapper from Jacksonville in the past, and he’s a very nice young man.
Sophomore cornerback Branden Smith will be Georgia’s punt return man this season. I like Smith here, because of his speed and knack for making plays. I know he fumbled twice on kickoff return last season, but from all accounts he’s fixed those woes.
And, I’m really disappointed about all these tailgaiting restrictions. It’s not like I can really partake in the atmosphere (because of my game day responsibilities), but seeing all those people and tents and grills on North Campus made me come alive on Saturdays.
Does anyone else think South Carolina will struggle versus Southern Miss tonight? Because I do.
Looks like rapper T.I. found the penitentiary again. Although, it doesn’t look like he’s in any serious trouble.
As always, talk about the links HERE, at the free Dawg Post message board.
